Namangu  Village is located  52.8Km from the district centre (mongu). The community’s main livelihood sources are crop production and livestock rearing. Before Village Water’s interventions the community depended on traditional well for their drinking water and the majority practiced open defecation. The common water and sanitation related diseases in the community were diarrhoea, skin diseases, eye infections and chest infections.
