If you would like to donate towards the work of Village Water using a credit card, it is best for us if you do this via the Just Giving web site. This allows you to use a range of credit cards. If you sign up for an account (although you don't have to) you can keep track of all your charitable giving. Please remember to GiftAid your donation if you pay UK income tax.  Donate via Just Giving. 

Donate Via Your Mobile Phone

You can donate by text. Send WASH12 plus the amount you would like to donate (eg £10) to 70070. That’s WASH12£10 to 70070. Every penny will come to us. You can even GiftAid the amount.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving enables you to donate to Village Water from pre-taxed earnings, which means you benefit from immediate tax relief on your gift. As an example, a basic rate tax payer who donates £10 pays £2 less tax on their income; so in effect the donation only costs you £8! Another benefit is that many employers now match (or even double-match) employee donations. If you are interested in donating in this way ask your employer about the company’s Payroll Giving Scheme.

Are you a UK taxpayer? Whether that be income tax, or capital gains tax, Gift Aid allows us to increase the value of your donations at no extra cost to you. For every pound you give to us we can receive an extra 28.2 pence from the Inland Revenue helping your donation to go further. £30	Hygiene education, improved sanitation and clean water for one person, for life
£240	Cement needed to install a new well
£450	New India Mark II water pump.
£2500	Refurbish a well, bringing a useless pump back into full use and carry out a full community sanitation and hygiene mobilisation programme and train village pump operators.
£4500	Provide an average of 170 people with hygiene education, improved sanitation and clean water, for life.
