Sponsored Events

Sponsored events can be a great deal of fun and a great way to raise money for Village Water. We can provide you with sponsorship leaflets and you can sign up for a Just Giving account so people can easily sponsor you online. Jane Thurnell-Read, one of our trustees cycled from land's End to John O'Groats in 12 days and raised over £2400 for Village Water.

Legacies

Naturally, your first priority will be to safeguard the interests of your loved ones. But as the years go by, many of us find that there is room to leave a gift to charity. Easyfundraising

You can raise money for Village Water at no cost to yourself while you shop online. Go to Easyfundraising  and sign up for a free account. Choose Village Water as your preferred charity. Then, whenever you shop online, first log into your Easyfundraising account and access the web sites of over 2000 retailers from there. When you buy from these retailers, they will make a donation, usually between 2.5% and 5% of the purchase price to Village Water. Retailers include Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Sainsbury, Tesco, LastMinute, Amazon, Viking Direct, iTunes, Interflora and lots more. Most retailers will donate even if you already have an online account with them. So while you do your online shopping, you could help Village Water provide wells and hygiene education for people in desperate need.

You can raise money for Village Water by selling things through the EBay for Charity Scheme. You decide exactly what percentage of the selling price goes to Village Water.
